KIRK BEGINNING MOUNTAIN DULCIMER JAM
Every 3rd Tuesday – 4:00 – 5:30 pm

Meets monthly to review basics of playing, strumming, and fingering techniques. We play easy tunes.
No prior playing necessary, just bring your mountain dulcimer and pick (and tuner if you have one). Open to Kirk and wider community of beginning dulcimer players.

KIRK HAMMERED DULCIMER SLOW JAM
Every 3 months at the Kirk on 2nd Sunday of the month – 2:00 – 4:00 pm
(Choir Room, Lower Level)

This jam emphasizes playing slow tunes S-L-O-W-L-Y, so that all attendees can learn and share their learnings. New and experienced players welcome. Just bring your hammered dulcimer and favorite hammers (and tuner if you have one). This group has recently decided to rotate between 3 different locations, e.g., Cary (Kirk of Kildaire), Raleigh (St. Giles Presbyterian Church) and a place to be named in the western part of the Triangle.
